The Royal Society: Celebrating scientists with disabilities

To mark the International Day of People with Disabilities (03/12) The Royal Society is highlighting the work of 6 disabled scientists, from early fellows to experts in the fields of astrophysics, mathematics, biology and more.

Disabled scientists have been making important contributions to science for centuries, with Professor Stephen Hawking FRS being undoubtedly one of the most celebrated scientists known to have an impairment.
